UPDATE: As of June 1, 2024, the Affordable Connectivity Program has ended, according to the Federal Communications Commission. In February 2024, the Federal Communications Commission stopped allowing new households to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program. The FCC has said that the Affordable Connectivity Program has exhausted its available funds. April 2024 was the final month that the FCC reimbursed providers the full $30 discount applied to a customer bill. Now that the Affordable Connectivity Program has officially ended, former ACP households who maintained service with Hardy Telecommunications are subject to Hardy’s undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions. The FCC announced that providers received only a partial amount for an ACP discount in May. Hardy Telecommunications chose, of its own accord, to continue a full $30 ACP discount through the month of May, despite Hardy Telecommunications receiving a reduced reimbursement. As of June, Hardy Telecommunications is unable to request any reimbursements through ACP, so there is no $30 ACP discount on customer bills. All customer households are now subject to Hardy Telecommunications’ undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions. ACP households may choose to disconnect service or change their service plan. If you so wish, please call our customer service department at 304-897-9911 or 304-530-5000.
