Hardy Telecommunications and Capon Valley Bank together will offer free admission to all Hardy County K-12 students for the upcoming Hardy Bowl high school football game featuring Moorefield at East Hardy.
Hardy Telecommunications and Capon Valley Bank are teaming up to pay for any student tickets for the October 15 game at EHHS Field in Baker. All Hardy County students in grades K-12 will receive free admission at the gate. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m.
“Hardy and Capon Valley Bank have done this for a few years now,” said Derek Barr, Hardy assistant general manager. “Capon Valley Bank first thought of sponsoring student admissions to the Hardy Bowl and asked us if we’d like to partner with them, and we loved the idea. We want as many students to attend the game as possible. East Hardy High has been very easy to work with to make this happen.”
Hardy Telecommunications and Capon Valley Bank are both business partners with East Hardy High School, but Derek said the free admission is available for all K-12 students in Hardy County. The annual match-up of the county’s only two high schools is a countywide event, he said.
