A scam email is circulating that claims to be from HardyNet and warns the recipient that his/her email storage is full. It asks the customer to click a link labeled “Clear Cache” to free up storage. THIS EMAIL IS A SCAM. Please do not click any links in the email. Please delete the email. In the examples we’ve seen, some telltale signs that the email is fake are that our name is listed incorrectly (Hardynet Communication, not our actual name of HardyNet or Hardy Telecommunications – in one example there was a misspelling in the word Communication), the email sender address if you check it does not have any relation to HardyNet, and the link destination if you hover over it (NOT click, just hover with a computer mouse) does not have any relation to HardyNet. Please ignore and delete this email.
