Scam Email Posing As HardyNet

We’ve been made aware of a scam email posing as HardyNet being sent to Hardy customers. The email says that the customer has requested to terminate a HardyNet email account and asks the customer to click on a link if they want to cancel the termination. It says that failure to cancel the termination will result in the closure of the customer account. The scam email even has a Hardy OneNet logo attached.

This email did not come from HardyNet. If you carefully look at the email address of the sender and not just the name, you will see that the email address does not come from HardyNet. Also, if you hover your cursor over the link, you will see that it does not correspond to a valid HardyNet site.

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK OR RESPOND TO THIS SCAM EMAIL! Just delete the email. The sender is trying to get you to provide confidential personal information or else open your computer so that they can infiltrate it and gain access to your information and files.
