Emergency Broadband Benefit Launched

The Federal Communications Commission has launched the Emergency Broadband Benefit program, designed to expand access to broadband for low-income households. The EBB program entitles a qualifying household to receive up to $50 per month off the standard rate for Internet access service from providers participating in the EBB program, including cellular providers such as U.S. Cellular, T-Mobile (Sprint), AT&T, and Verizon.
